Lest we forget!
Posted By: bnebb

Shocking? Horrible? Grisly? Yes! Wrong choice of pictures? Depends on your viewpoint. We talk about 9/11 but we do that so often that it had made many (if not most) jaded about the topic. My first impression? What a terrible picture to put on the cover. My feelings a second after viewing the picture? I remember the instant I heard of this atrocity on 9/11. I thought of all those people who died. I said a prayer for them and those who rescued the survivors and died trying to rescue the victims who died. This shocking, horrible grisly picture did its job. It made me remember. REALLY remember! Wrong choice? Maybe, but I don't think so.

support America's families, but do not disgust us!

I understand the whole memorial patriotism with putting a flag up... but this picture isn't the right picture to put as your front cover. It was a complete tragedy but, you could have easily put a picture of people in the dirty rubble or a firefighter with a flag and got the better opinions. We all have mourned and remember the terrible day that terrorists decided to cross the line, but making us have to see this picture doesn't do just.

What's this?

For the cover of the September issue you chose a photo displaying the instant hundreds of people died moments before thousands would. VERY POOR CHOICE OF PICTURES.
